A stable prepared area supports the filled container and routes filtrate to collection or treatment. Support selection depends on the bag geometry, wet load, ground conditions and environmental requirements.

Fabrication, QA/QC & African project supply
Tube pads
Provide a level, adequately supported area with specified protection and drainage. Where containment is required, include a suitable liner, collection drainage and storage. Foundation and slope design are project-specific.
Bag support frames
A frame, basket or skip may be considered where the bag is designed for that support arrangement. Check sharp edges, side support, drain paths, load rating and access. Confirm availability and drawings as part of the quotation.
Inspection and operations
Allow access to seams, ports and hoses without standing in a failure zone. Maintain collection capacity for early filtrate and rainfall. Include controlled drainage and emergency shutdown arrangements.
Plan removal
Decide whether solids will be removed on the pad, the supported unit transported, or a purpose-designed bag lifted. These are different handling duties and require different specifications.

Are FlowTex dewatering bags and tubes available from stock?
FlowTex holds stock for immediate supply. Ask for the available grade, dimensions and quantity; allocation is confirmed for the order. Custom dimensions or a different construction require a fabrication programme. Dispatch readiness and delivery time are confirmed separately.
What should I provide for a firm technical quotation?
Send the application, wet volume or flow, solids concentration and measurement basis, particle information, chemistry, filtrate target, dimensions, quantity, destination and required date. Identify any loaded handling requirement.
How is the fabric choice confirmed?
Compare published grade properties with representative slurry trials and the fabricated assembly requirements. The supplied construction, filling limits and handling arrangement are agreed for the actual project.
