FlowTex manufactures project-specific tubes up to 15 m circumference × 30 m length. These dimensions define the fabrication envelope; working capacity depends on the filled shape, height limit, density and consolidation.

Circumference is not width
A 15 m circumference corresponds to approximately 7.5 m lay-flat width before seam allowances. The filled tube spreads on its pad and must not be modelled as an operating circular cylinder.
Size from a solids balance
Calculate feed dry-solids mass from wet volume, slurry density and dry-solids mass fraction. Use target cake dry-solids fraction and cake bulk density to estimate cake volume. State the measurement basis for every percentage.
Specify a practical layout
Provide pad footprint, drainage route, access, port spacing, pump duty and operating schedule. Repeated filling can process more wet slurry than the final cake volume; it does not create unlimited storage.

Frequently asked questions
Are FlowTex dewatering bags and tubes available from stock?
FlowTex holds stock for immediate supply. Ask for the available grade, dimensions and quantity; allocation is confirmed for the order. Custom dimensions or a different construction require a fabrication programme. Dispatch readiness and delivery time are confirmed separately.
Does 15 m × 30 m mean tube width and length?
The stated maximum is 15 m circumference × 30 m finished length. Approximately 7.5 m is the corresponding lay-flat width before seam allowances. Filled width and height require a separate geometry assessment.
Can I use cylinder volume to order the required number of tubes?
A circular-cylinder calculation does not establish working capacity. Use the approved filled shape, operating height, feed solids, cake condition and fill/drain cycles.
