Standard-format and custom dewatering bags manufactured in South Africa. Compare fabric options, check stock and request a bag quotation.

Geotextile Dewatering Bags for Africa

Choose your bag. Check stock. Get a quote.

Choose a bag for smaller batches, pump-discharge sediment or trial work. FlowTex offers a standard 1 m × 1 m × 1 m format and custom fabrication. Confirm the fabric construction, quantity, inlet and handling arrangement for the actual feed.

Specifications that inform the right choice

Compare the published grades, then confirm the supplied construction and project requirements in the technical submission.

Technical notes and test basis

Dimensions describe the fabricated format. Working capacity depends on geometry, filling limits and the retained material. Confirm any lifting duty separately.

Fabrication, QA/QC & African project supply

Start with the bag format

The standard 1 m × 1 m × 1 m format describes nominal fabricated dimensions. It is not a guaranteed usable cake capacity or lifting load. Ask for the current bag drawing, supplied configuration and stock allocation.

Compare the filter

Mono 180, suitable HF woven grades and nonwoven-lined composite constructions provide different filtration and structural combinations. Trial the proposed bag with the actual feed, including any conditioning.

Check stock and price together

Send the size, construction, quantity, location and required date. The quotation confirms current availability, price, port configuration and dispatch or fabrication programme. No live inventory or unverified “ships today” flag is shown.

Plan handling

State whether the bag stays on its pad to be emptied or needs a lifting-duty assembly. Handles or base-fabric strength alone do not establish a safe working load.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What standard dewatering bag size is available?

The standard format is nominally 1 m × 1 m × 1 m. Confirm the fabric, supplied dimensions, inlet configuration, quantity and current stock with the quotation.

What does a dewatering bag cost?

Price depends on fabric/liner construction, size, port and handling details, quantity and destination. Request an itemised stock or fabrication quotation rather than comparing dimensions alone.

Can I lift a full bag?

Only if the exact supplied assembly has a separately established lifting duty and handling instructions. Nominal volume, handles or fabric strength do not establish an allowable loaded mass.

Discuss your dewatering specification

Send the feed, volume, filtrate target, dimensions, location and programme. We will help define the next step.
