Characterise the feed
Dredge production rate, particle grading, contamination, salinity, wet volume, dry-solids load and available pad area.
Select by trial
Compare HF, Mono and composite candidates for retention and filling/draining cycles. Coordinate tube availability and pad rotation with dredging output.
Plan the complete operation
Collect early filtrate, assess contamination and define any further treatment. Stacking requires its own stability and foundation assessment.
Specify the result
Agree dry-solids processing duty, filtrate criteria, cake handling condition, sampling points and observation period. Establish acceptance criteria before procurement.

Frequently asked questions
Are FlowTex dewatering bags and tubes available from stock?
FlowTex holds stock for immediate supply. Ask for the available grade, dimensions and quantity; allocation is confirmed for the order. Custom dimensions or a different construction require a fabrication programme. Dispatch readiness and delivery time are confirmed separately.
How many tubes are needed for a dredging programme?
Use total dry-solids loading, dredge output, trial drainage and consolidation behaviour, allowable tube filling limits and available pad area. Final cake volume and total wet slurry processed are different quantities.
Can the tubes be stacked to save space?
Stacking requires its own foundation, stability, drainage and filling-sequence assessment. A fabric grade or tube dimension is not automatic approval for stacking.
